Extended Lookup resolves the identity across every trusted source, ranks the real operating entity first, checks for duplicates, verifies the identifiers, and grades and cites the answer — CDQ-first, with the web only when trusted sources can’t confirm.
Does it just search the web?
No. It checks CDQ’s trusted sources first — official registers, 200M+ validated records and your own master data — and only cascades to the open web when they can’t confirm an answer. Web research is a metered capability that fires only when it’s needed, so coverage is broad and cost stays controlled.
